Sometimes love means letting go.
Not every adult cat can stay in the cattery forever. Sometimes a home of their own — with all the peace and attention for themselves — is simply a much better place to continue living.
Unfortunately we can't keep them all.
When you breed cats, you'd love to keep every cat forever. But unfortunately that's not possible. As the group grows larger, it can ultimately affect the peace and well-being of the cats.
Cats need their own space and rest. With multiple adult cats in one group, tension can sometimes arise between them.
Especially when queens are in heat, the atmosphere in the group can change. Some cats experience quite a lot of stress from this. That's why I always look at what is best for the cat.
Rehoming an adult breeding cat is therefore not a decision I take lightly. It is precisely a conscious choice to give her or him a place of their own with more peace, space, and personal attention.
These cats don't need to be any less loved. On the contrary. It's precisely because we care so much about them that we want to find them a home where they can be happy.
"It's not about how many cats I can keep, but about what is best for each individual cat."
These sweethearts are looking for a loving home.

An adult breeding cat doesn't deserve a "second choice" but a home where they can be completely themselves. Peace, attention, and of course lots of love.
